Instrument Care: To insure maximum life expectancy for your instruments, please follow these recommended care instructions. When cold sterilizing solutions are used, never leave instruments soaking overnight; 30 minutes is sufficient. Remove instruments and towel dry them immediately. As a precaution, it is recommended to air dry the screw joints carefully with compressed air.
Caution: To assure the adjustable screw joints or Internal Pin Joints do not get rusty, DO NOT ALLOW THE INSTRUMENTS TO SELF DRY!
When autoclaving instruments the temperature should never exceed 200o C or 392oF. Once sterilizing is complete, always towel and air dry as recommended in the cold sterilizing procedure.
NOTE: We highly recommend applying a thin coat of silicon lubricant both to joints and tips at least once a week.
WARNING: At time of shipping from our warehouse, this product is NOT sterilized. If this product is to be used intraorally it MUST be sterilized by an approved method prior to use.
